Learning About Video Marketing Concepts
Some of the newest online marketing strategies, and certainly some of the most successful, at least in the short term, are video marketing concepts.
These are much different than traditional methods of online marketing, and in some ways, are reminiscent of the infomercial on television, or the advertorial in print. They are a hybrid of advertising and information, something to attract the attention of the consumer and drive them to your website.
If you have not seen video marketing concepts in use, then go to Yahoo or Google and do a search. In addition to the usual results of websites (both paid results and unpaid), you will see video results.
These are small videos, usually a minute in length or less, that provide some sort of information for the person doing the searching. They help to establish the author as an authority on a subject and lead the consumer directly to a place to make a purchase.
For instance, if you were searching for swim lessons, you might find video results on your search page, with videos of people teaching swimming or telling about some of the latest in swim technology. These people are using video marketing concepts to get your attention, to establish their brand name or product, and to try and get you to click over to where they are making their sales.
You can use this same kind of technology, even if you don’t have the ability or the interest to make your own videos. There are videos online that you can alter or enhance to push your product, and you can pay to have these videos included in the results pages of keyword searches.
Using Video is an easy way and an effective one, to get the interest of searchers, build a relationship, and have them come to your website to make a purchase.
